“City Currents” traces the invisible routes of contemporary life—loops of movement, thought, and data—interrupted by flashes of gold where chance, hope, and human presence light up the grid.

In “City Currents “ series, I seek to capture the non-linear flow of contemporary urban life—its endless loops, turns, and intersections. I use indigo and black brush arcs to evoke transit routes, human routines, and digital streams cycling through the dense cityscape. The sharp white spaces are deliberate pauses of silence and breath, those fleeting gaps between messages, meetings, and obligations.

The gold elements represent moments of chance and opportunity for me—illuminated windows, signals on a map, or emotions that pierce through daily repetition. Each composition begins with a loaded brush, only to be "interrupted" by crisp blocks and lines, mirroring how intuitive impulses collide with the structures, rules, and architecture of city existence.

This series speaks to collectors like myself, navigating the tension between order and chaos—those who construct frameworks in their days yet crave unexpected openings and new paths. If you want a one‑sentence wall text:

金箔元素則是我對偶然與機遇的象徵——如窗中亮起的燈光、地圖上的訊號，或日常重複中突然閃現的情感。每件作品都從沾滿顏料的筆觸開始，然後被銳利的方塊與線條「打斷」，這正是直覺衝動在城市規則、結構與建築中遭遇的寫照。

這個系列特別獻給那些像我一樣、在秩序與混沌間遊走的人——我們在日常中建構框架，卻始終尋找那些意外的開口與新路徑。
