I was curious about the meaning of living since I was young. Why do we have to live and why don't we die. What life is and what it means to live with people. I always had doubts about my life even though I had neither lived in a dark life nor lived superior to others. I wanted to talk about life and emotions, so I tried to find out my curiosity through pictures.

Inspired by pattern fabrics, I started working. As the check pattern intersects vertically and horizontally, different colors intersect, and looking closely at this textile technology, I thought it looked like the world we lived in. Countless strands create lines and faces, within which each strand is a very important factor. There is no element that is not necessary to achieve the pattern of checks. I hope even my life will be like that

There are forms of visual repetitive patterns, but I also use patterns of behavior as a pattern. I would like to convey the meaning by emphasizing what I want to say through repetitive actions.

It depicts the world in which we live through the combination of different lines. Each form of each painting reveals a different presence, as if different us are combining to form a world. I started to expose these lines as a woodwork because I wanted them to be accepted in a more three-dimensional sense than the place where the brush passed by in a plane. It's not a form that can remain as a stroke through cutting

It was hoped that it would become an independent morphology by itself. It has elements of the face and at the same time becomes a line. If you become a three-dimensional person, you will have time to watch it from left to right, up and down, and the line itself has the meaning of capturing time, but it is also for the viewers to read the time.
