出生於日本東京的舟木愛，從小便喜歡以繪畫紀錄她的想法。創作皆以動物及自然作為靈感。

在她作品中的小黑貓，替她將感受傳達給世人。以黑白為基調的系列，是用以緬懷及紀念過去，而明亮多彩的作品則象徵著現在。她認為自然環境也擁有豐富的表情，就如同人類一般。她擅長捕捉小動物細膩豐富的表情及生動的姿態，並將其風格化為洗鍊時尚的色塊，畫作也帶著一點童趣與幻想的色彩，總能引人入勝。

Ai Funaki born in Tokyo, has loved to record her ideas through drawings since she was a child. Her creations are inspired by animals and nature.

The little black cat called “JOE” in her works conveys her feelings to the world. The black-and-white series is created to remember and commemorate the past. The bright and colourful series symbolize the present. She believes that the nature also build up a rich expression, just like humans. She is good at capturing the delicate and vivid postures of small animals, and stylizes them into fashionable color blocks Her paintings always have a little childlike and fantasy, which is always fascinating.
